Did you know that up to 30% of men suffer from abnormally large breasts, a genetic condition known as gynecomastia? Sono Bello’s Chest E/X process is a great solution to this concern. It not only permanently removes the fat but also allows the surgeon to sculpt the treatment area.
Treatment for Chest E/X generally involves a combination of liposuction and direct excision of the enlarged glandular tissue allowing for a more sculpted chest area.
Males who have puffy nipples or moderate to significant enlargement of the breast area (without sagging or excess skin).
Treatment of gynecomastia is simple, safe and highly effective. The procedure is completed in one visit and typically last between 2-4 hrs.
Many patients should be able to return to normal desk-type work in just a few days. Minor swelling is common post-procedure but should resolve within 2-4 weeks.
Final results vary from patient to patient; by age, grade size, amount removed and individual healing rates. Some patients see immediate results that continue to become even more impressive. Others experience minor swelling so that it takes a few months until the final results can be appreciated. Generally, young patients tend to heal quicker and have less discomfort. There is no way to predict ahead of time your healing speed, fluid retention, or how quickly you will see the final results. On average most patients enjoy 80% of their ultimate results within three to four months following their procedure.
Sono Bello’s Chest E/X uses the TriSculpt® process to permanently remove unwanted fat and allows the physician to more accurately sculpt the treatment area. With the addition of direct excision of the enlarged glandular tissue, final-results of a well-done liposuction procedure are improved.
Removal of glandular tissue varies from patient to patient; some patients may see partial or no gland removal. The need for glandular tissue removal will be determined by your Sono Bello medical team.
Every patient is different, and everybody recovers at a different pace. Many patients have resumed light exercise within a couple of days. We recommend that patients start out by doing light exercise, full activity in two weeks and strenuous activity in six weeks.
